Lift Passes

Pre- booking lift passes...

Lift passes are pre-bookable for all our resorts. We give details of ski lifts under the 'Ski Packs' tab on our resort pages. In some resorts there may be more than one type of ski pass available, such as whole area passes or local passes. We strongly recommend you pre-book your lift pass, equipment hire and tuition before you travel to save time and money.

You do not need a passport photo for your lift pass unless otherwise specified on the individual resort pages. A deposit or small charge (approx. 5 Euro) for lift passes may be levied locally in some resorts. Our prices refer to 6 days (other durations are available at the time of booking).

NEW Lift Pass Price Guarantee!

This winter we have paid particular attention to the one additional item that every skier and boarder needs – the lift-pass. In the past, fluctuating currency exchange rates have meant that guests who pre-booked may not always have received the best possible price.  So this winter, if you pre-book your lift pass with Inghams before you travel, you can take advantage of our cast-iron Lift Pass Price Guarantee. If you find the identical lift pass is cheaper locally, from the lift company, we’ll refund you the difference, immediately in resort.

Please note: lift passes must be added to a booking at least 2 weeks prior to departure.

The guarantee assumes the following exchange rates: Euros 1.15, NOK 95, Can$ 1.58, USD$ 1.54, Chf 1.64.

NEW Ski saver packs: Save up to £240 per couple!

If you need an area lift pass, wouldn't mind a few days tuition, need to hire skis but already have your own boots, our pre-bookable Special Saver Packs put all the key elements you need together to save you £££s.  For more information, see the Equipment & Ski Hire page or see resort pages for full details.

... when you book your holiday online

When booking online, you will be presented through the booking process with the resort-relevant options so you can book your ski packs at the same time as booking your holiday. Our Lift-Pass Price Guarantee applies to passes booked this way.

... after you've booked your holiday but more than 2 weeks before you travel

Alternatively, ski pack options can be added after your holiday booking by calling our reservations department on 020 8780 4455 or requesting them online on the ski pack request form.

To add ski pack items is free outside of 4 weeks prior to departure and £15 within 2-4 weeks for Europe and 3-4 weeks for Canada.

If ski packs or excursions are added after you confirm your holiday, you will be charged the price quoted by our reservations system valid at the time the ski packs (not the holiday) are booked. Some ski pack items/prices are subject to change. Our Lift-Pass Price Guarantee applies to passes booked this way.

... when you arrive in resort

You can also book the pass of your choice when you arrive at your resort with our local representative.

The price you pay is the local price you would pay at the lift pass office.

However you book, the representatives in resort will help get your lift pass to you so you don't even have to go out and get it!

Please note that you don't usually need a passport photo for your lift pass unless otherwise specified.  You won't need passport photos for resorts in the US, Canada, Andorra or Austria. A deposit or small charge of around 5 Euros might be levied locally in some resorts, for lift passes. Our prices usually refer to 6 day passes but there are more durations available - choose the best solution for your needs when you book.

Senior Citizens and Young People

Many lift companies offer senior citizen reductions similar to those given to the under 15s. These may be purchased locally. Youth passes, if available, can be pre-booked. Check the notes under the individual resort pages ski pack information for special prices that may be available to pre-book or purchase locally. Proof of age may be requested in resort (e.g. passport).

Non-Skiers Lift Pass

Where special passes exist for non-skiers, we feature these prices under our pre-bookable ski packs on the resort pages. If no special pass is available to pre-book, we would recommend that non-skiers purchase suitable passes in the resort via our representative.

Children

We pre-sell children’s ski pack facilities in most of our resorts and special reductions are given in most cases. We advise that bookings for under 6s are made locally as, in the case of ski hire and ski school, special prices generally exist. In some resorts lift companies often allow children to ski free of charge. The age limits
for children vary from country to country and are given for each facility in the ‘notes’ column of the Ski Pack panel for each resort (proof of age may be requested locally). The age of your child given at the time of booking should be the age he/she will be at the time of your last day on holiday - not the age at the time of booking.

USA & Canada

In the USA and Canada we offer any duration of ski packs you require (minimum 6 days). Our ski pack prices refer to a minimum 6 days’ duration with a ‘one day add-on’ for additional days required.

2 for 1 Offers

Where 2-for-1 offers are featured in your resort, these should be booked against one person for two items. These offers represent two people for the price of one - not two courses or two weeks for the price of one.

14 night holidays - Europe

Clients booking a 14 night holiday but requiring ski pack facilities for 1 week only should book locally through our resort representatives.

Rail Holidays

We offer a choice of 6 or 7 day equipment hire and passes. Depending on when you arrive at your resort, you might choose to extend your pre-booked ski packs. This can be done by paying a supplement to your Inghams resort rep.

Piste Closure

If on arrival in resort there is a total closure of the area lift system, it is likely that any pre-booked passes will not be valid in another ski area. In such cases, and provided the representative has endorsed the unused voucher with the words "Piste Closure", we will give a full refund less a fee of £5 per person (maximum £15 per booking) to cover administration, postage etc. Please return the unused vouchers to our Administration Department upon your return to the UK.

Cancellation in resort

No refund will be considered if you decide in your resort not to use any pre-booked ski pack items. After presentation of the voucher to the supplier (e.g. ski hire shop, ski school etc), refunds must be negotiated with and obtained from the supplier direct, and are not guaranteed by this company. In the case of illness or an accident, you must obtain a medical certificate to claim from your insurer when you return home. Refunds are not considered by Inghams on your return from holiday. See details of Inghams Travel Insurance.

All prices for pre-bookable items are shown on the resort pages and through our online booking process. If ski packs or excursions are not booked when you confirm your holiday, you will be charged the price quoted by our reservations system valid at the time the ski packs (not the holiday) are booked. Some ski pack items/offers may not be available at later dates and prices are subject to change. Pre-booked ski packs do not form part of your package holiday contract with us and we do not accept responsibility for any service which is provided by the supplier as part of the ski pack. See booking terms and conditions for further information.
