We offer the highest quality equipment to help you get the best out of your technique. For more information, see the Equipment & Ski Hire page.

Private Tuition - fast track your skiing

A couple of hours private tuition can help you get to the next level. Book with your Rep in resort. (Pre-bookable courses available in Banff).

Meet the Pistes

Meet the Pistes is a free ski hosting service run by Inghams in selected resorts. Join your Inghams Rep on the slopes for a tour of the mountain and the piste map. Find the best runs, how to avoid any ski-lift queues, and get top tips on the best places to stop for lunch!

All we ask is that you can ski red runs confidently, but you do not need to be an advanced skier. It is a fun way to get to know the pistes, your Inghams Rep, and your fellow guests. No ski instruction is provided. See your Representative in resort for details.
See our Ski Area tab on resort pages for details of Meet the Pistes.

Please refer to our terms & conditions of Meet the Pistes.

We offer a local Mountain Host service in all our North American resorts. These are not run by Inghams but are free and operate on a first come, first served basis.

Ski Safari

New for 2010-11, our exclusive Ski Safari through the Rockies is a 10 day guided ski tour of the best of the Canadian Rockies staying 4 nights in Banff, 3 nights in Panorama and 3 nights Fernie, skiing in Sunshine, Nakiska, Lake Louise, Panorama, Kicking Horse and Fernie! Ski Day Trips

Mountain Guiding

For those craving a little more adventure, how about an off-piste experience on fresh powder? Bumps, jumps and dramatic descents will soon have you breathless and feeling that first time thrill all over again. Qualified mountain guides can be hired in many of our resorts.

Ski Away Days

'Ski Away' resorts give you the option of visiting a different ski area during your holiday, sometimes in a different country! Many resorts include this opportunity in your lift pass price, others offer it at a supplement or payable locally. Ski bus transport is usually included.

Look out for our popular Inghams Ski Away Days, where your Representative organises your day out (selected resorts only). See ski resorts pages for details.

Canadian Back Country

The backcountry powder that covers acres of the Canadian Rockies has traditionally been untouchable to all but a lucky few. Now, you can join them. Two adrenalin-fueled trips will take you where you've never been before!

Heliskiing

Try Heliskiiing for the ultimate ski or snowboard adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

See your rep to book in the following resorts: Banff, Canazei, Cervinia, Fernie, Jackson Hole, Lech, Selva, Verbier, Whistler, Zermatt and Zurs.

Cat Skiing

Take a snowcat for an amazing day of skiing and snowboarding on fantastic backpowder in Fernie - see your rep locally to book.

Ski & Board School

Tuition prices generally refer to 3, 4, 5 or 6 consecutive days. The number of hours’ tuition per day is given in the relevant ski pack price panel (see ski resorts pages). Other variations may be available locally, but we pre-sell what we consider the most popular options. Some ski schools do not operate on a Sunday, therefore when travelling on a Saturday, one day’s ski school may be missed. However, we still advise that you pre-book a 6 day ticket, as the price we have negotiated is often cheaper than booking five one-day sessions locally. In some resorts the difference is made up by offering our clients a longer class duration. Ski schools in someAustrian and Swiss resorts are closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Ski schools may also close early at the end of the season due to insufficient numbers. We regret that no refund is available for these days, though some ski schools lengthen the duration of lessons on other days. Please enquire locally. Price and days included may vary on Christmas and New Year weeks 2010-11, due to mid-week departures. Please call for exact details.

Ski school grading

For France and the Valais region of Switzerland, please indicate at the time of booking the standard of ski/snowboard school you wish to join (e.g. beginner, lower intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced) by booking the appropriate level where offered.

Interchanging Ski & Snowboard School

In most resorts in Austria ski school is interchangeable with snowboard school (changeover on Wednesday).

Cancellation in resort

No refund will be considered if you decide in your resort not to use any pre-booked ski pack items. After presentation of the voucher to the supplier (e.g. ski hire shop, ski school etc), refunds must be negotiated with and obtained from the supplier direct, and are not guaranteed by this company. In the case of illness or an accident, you must obtain a medical certificate to claim from your insurer when you return home. Refunds are not considered by Inghams on your return from holiday. See details of Inghams Travel Insurance.

All prices for pre-bookable items are shown on the resort pages and through our online booking process. If ski packs or excursions are not booked when you confirm your holiday, you will be charged the price quoted by our reservations system valid at the time the ski packs (not the holiday) are booked. Some ski pack items/offers may not be available at later dates and prices are subject to change. Pre-booked ski packs do not form part of your package holiday contract with us and we do not accept responsibility for any service which is provided by the supplier as part of the ski pack. See booking terms and conditions for further information.
